Enterprise Elevator is planning to open up applications on the 1st of December 2015, for a Health-Tech accelerator programme based in South Africa. This program will seek m-health, Health-Tech and other post revenue tech companies, which positively impact health throughout South Africa.
Enterprise Elevator is a strategic partnership between three organisations – Entrepreneur Traction, Impact Amplifier and Visions2Ventures. The Team has partnered to offer a unique solution, designed to scale high growth tech businesses that provide positive social impact. The programme will focus on three core pillars: getting the businesses ready to access capital; accessing markets and key partnerships, and showcasing the entrepreneur’s innovations to the business and investment community, alongside strong media partnerships.
At this year’s Innovation Summit, Enterprise Elevator curated key stakeholders from the health and entrepreneurial ecosystem to speak at the event. The companies represented included Deloitte, VC4Africa, LifeQ and the Western Cape Government. The speakers embraced this platform and touched on the challenges that the current health sector is facing. They also shared very valuable thought leadership on the way forward as well as invaluable insights on their entrepreneurial journeys. Among the speakers was team Pulse, the winners of the recent Health Hackathon, which was hosted by UCT Graduate School of Business, and other key stakeholders at the Groote Schuur hospital. Team Pulse will receive mentorship and guidance from the Enterprise Elevator team.
The planned accelerator programme, based out of Cape Town, is a 5-month intensive programme, in which Enterprise elevator will support up to 10 businesses.
